Because painters often work in different environments and temperatures (outside, inside, summer, winter), it is important that this is taken into account when purchasing work clothing. Secondly, the sunlight reflecting off your work clothes can influence the color of your work environment. For example, if you wear an orange overall, an orange glow will appear on the wall or ceiling. That is quite inconvenient when you are whitewashing the wall.

Thirdly, painters often work with hazardous substances, such as thinner. It is useful to be able to see immediately if such substances come on your clothing.
