To provide certainty about fair, environmentally friendly and safe production, the clothing industry works with (independent) certifications. These certifications help consumers and companies make more conscious, sustainable choices and provide insight into how (work) clothing is produced.
At Tricorp we believe that certifications are essential for transparency and trust. They show that agreements about people, the environment and quality are not only made, but are also actually complied with. That is why we take responsibility within our chain and only work with recognized certifications that contribute to this sustainable work clothing.
This is how we make sustainability demonstrable and concrete: from raw material to end product.
GRS certification
The Global Recycled Standard (GRS) is an international certification that shows that a product consists of at least 50% recycled material. In addition, the GRS sets requirements for registering water and energy consumption, limiting waste flows and the use of little or no harmful chemicals. At Tricorp we therefore replace conventional materials with recycled raw materials such as recycled PET.
The GRS also sets clear conditions on a social level. For example, safe working conditions, the ban on child labor and compliance with the minimum wage are monitored within the production chain. The GRS therefore offers certainty about both the environmental impact and the social conditions in which work clothing is produced.

OCS certification
The Organic Content Standard (OCS) provides insight into how many organic fibers have been processed in a garment. The certification exclusively assesses the raw material phase of the production chain and focuses on the origin and traceability of biological materials.
Within Tricorp we are both OCS 100 and OCS Blended certified.
The OCS 100 certification guarantees that a product consists of at least 95% recycled material. OCS Blended demonstrates that a product contains between 5% and 95% recycled material. By replacing conventional cotton with organic cotton, we reduce the use of water and chemicals and reduce our overall environmental impact, without compromising on quality and wearing comfort.

RCS certification
The Recycled Claim Standard (RCS) is an international certification that demonstrates that a product consists entirely or partially of recycled material. The RCS focuses on reliably tracking recycled materials through the entire production chain, from raw material to end product.
Within Tricorp we are RCS Blended certified. This certification proves that a product contains between 5% and 95% recycled material. With this certification we make the use of recycled raw materials demonstrable and transparent within our production chain.

OEKO-TEX® STANDARD 100
OEKO-TEX® Standard 100 is an international quality mark that guarantees that a garment has been extensively tested for harmful substances. This certification provides assurance that work clothing is safe for the skin and breathing.
Not only the fabric is tested, but also all other parts of the garment, such as buttons, zippers, labels and linings. Every detail meets strict health and safety requirements.
Within this certification we are also certified for the use of recycled material. This means that a product contains at least 20% recycled material, demonstrable and checked according to the OEKO-TEX® guidelines.
