Rewear: Sustainable clothing for work

Work clothes must be safe, representative and durable, so that professionals can get the most out of their working day. Tricorp now gives a whole new dimension to the concept of 'sustainable'. Tricorp makes sustainable clothing for work possible by launching REWEAR as part of RE2050: the transformation of our bestsellers into a fully circular and innovative material.

At Tricorp we work every day to implement and improve processes with people and the environment in mind. In this way we ensure better and safer products and working conditions. Not only for our customers, but also for the people who contribute to the production of our work clothing. The most important condition is that it has no negative impact on the environment. Tricorp works together with the Social and Economic Council and more than 70 partners in the ICSR agreement in the field of International Social Entrepreneurship. Today we are not only taking the necessary steps for sustainable clothing, but we are also working hard on sustainable business operations.

RE2050: RESEARCH INTO NEW POSSIBILITIES WITHIN CIRCULAR WORKWEAR

To make sustainable clothing possible, we continuously research new possibilities within circular work clothing. That is what RE2050 stands for. We not only want to be honest and transparent, but also cross-border. This way we ensure that we are always ahead and continue to develop. In our circular logo you can see at a glance what Tricorp stands for: beautiful can always be more beautiful and good can always be better. Sustainable and focused on the future. The logo is inspired by the QR code: track and trace of the origin of all raw materials, but also openness about the entire chain. This year we proudly present a new series of sustainable clothing for work within RE2050 in which “pre- and post-consumer” waste go together: the REWEAR collection.

REWEAR: COMPLETE CIRCULAR CLOTHING PACKAGE

REWEAR is a fashionable, high-quality, sporty and commercially viable package with a fresh look. We are also able to produce sustainably for custom work and the smallest editions. REWEAR is a line based on six top items from our standard collection. The new one REWEAR items are mainly made from recycled polyester or a blend of recycled polyester and organic cotton.

SUSTAINABLE CLOTHING: REDUCE, REUSE & REWEAR

With REWEAR and RE2050 we are accelerating the production of sustainable clothing that remains sustainable in the long term. In order to realize this fully circular clothing package, we have three spearheads: Reduce, Reuse and Rewear. What does this mean in concrete terms?

Reduce: Reducing water use, energy and CO2 emissions. And reducing the use of new raw materials.
Reuse: Collecting used clothing to use in new textile products.
Rewear: Reusing materials in our sustainable clothing for work. We do this, for example, by recycling a worn softshell jacket. This way we can use the polyester again in a new softshell jacket. Another example is recycling a PET bottle into PET polyester.

With our new sustainable clothing line we can also offer our six most popular items as circular items. With this we are taking another step in the right direction. Only together can we achieve a circular economy in 2050.

COMPLETE PACKAGE OF SUSTAINABLE CLOTHING FOR THE PROFESSIONAL

Curious about Tricorp's new circular work clothing? These are the six top items from our standard collection, of which a sustainable, circular variant is now also available.

T-Shirt Fitted REWEAR: made of 50% Bio cotton and 50% Recycled polyester. The T-shirt has a slim neck collar and a nice natural stretch.
Polo shirt Fitted REWEAR: made of 50% Organic Cotton and 50% Recycled Polyester. The slim button strip and slim collar give this polo shirt a contemporary look.
Sweater REWEAR: made of 60% Organic Cotton and 40% Recycled Polyester. The roughened inside makes this sweater very comfortable to wear.
Softshell Luxury REWEAR: made from 100% Recycled Polyester. This jacket contains extra stretch for great wearing comfort and freedom of movement. The PU intermediate layer ensures optimal breathability so that you sweat less quickly.
Midi Parka REWEAR: made from 100% Recycled Polyester. The parka is fully padded, breathable, windproof and waterproof (in accordance with the standard EN 343, class 3/3). The reflective piping also provides extra visibility.
Work trousers Twill REWEAR: made of 65% Recycled Polyester and 35% Organic Cotton. The work trousers have a raised back panel and an adjustable waistband. The trousers offer enough storage space with various pockets for the tools that you carry with you while doing the work.

Puffer Bodywarmer REWEAR: lightweight and fully sustainable body warmer made from 100% recycled polyester. It keeps you warm and flexible, and is perfect for printing thanks to the modern puffer look and contrast softshell. With practical details such as lockable pockets, reflective accents and an ID loop
Puffer Jack REWEAR: a modern, sustainable and super comfortable work jacket made from 100% recycled polyester. The jacket is equipped with smart details such as a detachable hood, adjustable parts and many practical storage options. Thanks to the puffer look with contrasting softshell panels, it is also excellent for printing.
Winter Softshell Jacket REWEAR: This winter jacket with light PrimaLoft® lining offers warmth, a modern fit and many practical details. Made from partly recycled materials and equipped with a printer zipper. It is durable and easy to personalize.
