WHAT MUST COMPANY CLOTHING IN SECURITY COMPLY?

Work clothes for security guards must meet two important conditions. Firstly, the clothing must contain a logo of the security organization for which you work. Secondly, it is necessary to show a V sign on the clothes. This sign has been established by the Minister of Justice and Security for private security guards.

In addition, there are a number of restrictions on work clothing in security. These mainly serve to prevent the clothing of security guards from looking too much like a police uniform. The following items are prohibited when it comes to clothing in security:

• For dark blue uniforms, the trousers may not have a piping. A piping is a stripe of fabric on the side of the pants, usually black in color;
• Logos, emblems and other identifying marks may not resemble those of the police;
• If a short jacket (blouson) is worn, it must also not resemble that of the police;
• No signs may be used that distinguish between ranks.
